Would you trade a year of your life and your eyesight to break into coaching?

Mountain Hawks’ video coordinator, Jack Humsey, did just that. With long terms goals of coaching the Boston Celtics, Humsey contacted 100 colleges in hopes of breaking into college basketball.

Lehigh University offered Humsey a year-long volunteer position as the Mountain Hawks’ video coordinator. Now, he spends most days watching videos of high school recruits and game tapes of Lehigh and their opponents.

A position previously held by former Nets assistant coach and current head coach for The Grand Rapids Drive, Ryan Krueger, Humsey is surely on the right track to acquiring a coaching position.
